Empreinte Collective is a creative research-creation installation developed for a fundraising gala in support of the MUHC (McGill University Health Centre) Foundation.

The installation invited guests to answer one question: “What do you wish for the healthcare system?” They wrote a one-word response on an iPad, then pressed their hand into a pin screen, creating a physical impression without capturing their identity.

The hand impression triggered LEDs and sent the handwritten word to a large screen, where it appeared inside a growing fingerprint. As more guests participated, their words accumulated, creating a collective portrait of hopes for healthcare.
